How long have you been a Stroller Strides member and What has Stroller Strides done for you?

I have been a member for two and a half weeks.

What are some of your favorite things (besides Scott and Harper)?

Animals, my mom, dad and sisters Rachael and Jillian, cheesecake, and swimming

Tell us something about you that would surprise us.

I love 80ties music

If we asked your husband what he thought your best qualities are, what would he say for personality? Physically?

Personality-kindness, motherly, and a great listener. Physically- he says he loves my cute face! I will let you know more after a few months at stroller strides!! ha ha

Mom of the Month for April

Rachel McLure

Who are the members of your family?

Scott, Rachel, and Harper Sage McLure

What was/is your previous and/or current career?

I have my Master's Degree in Architecture, and I currently work in the Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Department for the City of Riverside.  I design and manage the construction of buildings within the parks.

How long have you been a Stroller Strides member and What has Stroller Strides done for you?

I started Stroller Strides in February of 2009 to meet friends and to lose the pregnancy weight.  I have already lost 6 pounds.  I look forward to Stroller Strides each day because it gets me up and going.   I enjoy being outdoors with my daughter .  The group motivation helps me to push myself harder than when I work out by myself.

What are some of your favorite things (besides Scott and Harper)?

I like shopping, going out with friends, going to the beach, and traveling.

Tell us something about you that would surprise us.

My mom's cousin is Cindy Crawford's step-father.

If we asked your husband what he thought your best qualities are, what would he say for personality? Physically?

I think he would say that I'm a great mom to our daughter; that I am a loving wife, and a hard worker. Physically, I think he would say he likes my eyes and my boobs. :)

March Mom's Night In

Bunco Night

We all had such a great time playing Bunco at Amy Hendren's House.  Thank you so much Amy for Hosting our Mom's Night In, we all really appreciated it.  Our group of Mom's are so much fun, thanks to everyone that came.
